First off - why are you even trying to compare MH to MLP? The are NOTHING alike - nor will they ever be. I'm sorry but to try and say that a full-fledged TV SHOW and WEBISODES TO GO ALONG WITH A DOLL LINE are the same and thus can even be compared is purely asinine. Just like the tv show Jem came out to go along with the doll line - NOT the other way around. You missed a huge part of what Monster High is all about I think. The basic premise of loving yourself, loving others and being true to who YOU are. I'm a 19 year old girl who fell in love with the franchise because of that simple fact. Things may be flawed - but is anything ever perfect? I'm sorry you're immediately assuming that you'll be bashed for this post - but please understand you are not the first nor will you be the last person to do this to our little fandom, and we've learned to be harsh to people because of the hate we receive. I could turn around and say 'You and your boyfriend .. why the hell do you like MLP?! Thats directed towards little girls!!!' but I don't. Because I understand there is an underlying message to MLP:FiM (not the same as MLP in general mind you). So please try to understand that Monster High has a similar underlying message - instead of based around Friendship - its based around Self-Respect and Being true to yourself.

What makes you think you can judge the importance or sentimentality of an item that doesn't belong to you? What's makes them "more especial"? The only thing that's been said on this blog is that they are *not* BJDs, and you agree, so I'm not sure what your problem is. There are TONS of collectors that are BJD and MH collectors and Pullip collectors and Blythe collectors and most of them just *don't want* them in the bjd tag. Some people have opinions about some type of dolls, like I'm not a fan of Blythe, but everyone is allowed that right of opinion, just like people can dislike my MNFs. 

As an admin of this blog I have to say- I collect Monster High too and I'm really surprised by the way MH etc collectors reacted so violently to these confessions. I'm especially shocked by the people who somehow think that the Monster High fandom is harder to be in than the BJD fandom— I'm pretty sure someone said BJD owners don't get the "shit" the MH fandom does? I'd love to hear a breakdown of that, considering purchasing a mass-produced current toy is worlds different than purchasing huge dolls literally worth hundreds of dollars each. 

(via confessionsofthebjdkind) I can't vouch for all of us obviously - but I know personally I and a few others are just tired of seeing literally confession after confesssion (mind you these are the ONLY ones I see from any BJD confessional in our tag) - of people usually RAGING about MH =/= BJD. It's getting old and tired now - and if we could all freaking move on from that point it'd be awesome because seriously - it is putting the BJD community in a bad light for some of us who just watch the MH tag and see only this. Just like how the Monster High community had a little hissfit over the Equestria Girls and moved on - it'd be nice for you guys to do the same. There are always going to be some people out of the the thousands of MH fans that will argue that MH = BJD and to that I say … I'm sorry? There will always be outliers?
