You have all been sweethearts to check on me and I’m sorry I haven’t been a very good tumblr friend lately.

Our oldest son graduated from high school a couple of days ago.  Yay for him!  I’ve been homemaker extraordinaire, entertaining both sets of grandparents, two aunts and an uncle came who have stayed in our home for the better part of a week.  Yes, I survived.  It was the first time they have all seen each other since our Wedding, so everyone was on their best behavior and I was pleasantly surprised how well everyone got along.  We pulled it off without a hitch and I can honestly say, this was one of the best weeks of my life.  We had a party yesterday for all the kids he’s grown up with.  Boys from Little League who are now 6’4”. .. where did the time go?

I didn’t get a chance to let you guys know that I would be away for a few days.  When a water pipe broke in one of our guest bedrooms three days before our families arrived, I had to kick it into a kind of gear for which I was totally unprepared.    

I have missed you and the free time we spend together.  I’m back and will be around to see each of you very soon.
